Terms of Service Last updated: 2026-06-16 The service Routabout is an AI routing and chat product operated by Cabildo Companies LLC. It routes your queries to one of several AI models, persists conversation context, and bills you for paid models against a prepaid balance. Your account You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
One account per person. Acceptable use You agree not to use Routabout to generate content that violates the law, infringes others' rights, attempts to subvert another model's safety guardrails, or to operate at a scale or in a pattern that interferes with the service for other users. Billing Free-tier queries are routed to providers that incur no per-token cost to you. Paid queries debit your balance at the model's listed rate.
Top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law. Wallet credit is a prepaid means of accessing paid models — it is not a deposit, stored cash value, or money transmission, carries no cash value outside the service, and is non-transferable. Your wallet holds two types of credit: • Trial credit — granted at signup; expires 30 days after issuance; non-refundable. • Paid credit — purchased top-ups; no expiry as long as your account is open. Both show as a single balance.
Trial credit is consumed first. Your wallet is shared across Cabildo products (Routabout, Cour, Portage). Content ownership You retain ownership of what you submit. We use your conversations to deliver the product (storage, retrieval, context).
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and use your conversations to deliver the Service, to improve and develop our AI systems (including training and fine-tuning models on abstracted behavioral patterns), and as described in our Privacy Policy. This license transfers no ownership and ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention windows in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of model outputs; AI-generated content is provided as-is without warranty. Third-party providers When you select an external AI model, you authorize us to transmit the text of your query, any attachments, and the metadata necessary to complete the request to that provider.
Your query is then processed by that provider under their own terms and privacy policy. We do not control provider behavior, output quality, or availability. Provider models, policies, and capabilities may change without notice. The current provider list is at routabout.ai/legal/providers.
Email Services When you add dudley@routabout.ai to an email thread, you represent that introducing an AI participant into that conversation is appropriate for that context. You — not Routabout — are the responsible party for your own conduct in using Email Services. You agree to indemnify and hold Routabout harmless from any third-party claims arising from your own conduct or representations in connection with Email Services, excluding claims arising from Routabout's operation of the Dudley AI itself. Every reply from Dudley is clearly identified as an AI-generated message in the message body or signature, powered by Routabout.
Email thread content is processed solely to generate a reply within that request session. Content is not stored in Routabout's persistent databases after the reply is generated and is not used to train Routabout's models. For sub-processor retention terms, see our Privacy Policy. Content is also processed to calculate and record billing charges to your Routabout account.
Before Dudley reads and processes a message authored by a participant who is not a Routabout account holder, Routabout sends that participant a one-time notice and an opportunity to opt in or opt out. If a non-account-holder's prior messages appear as quoted or forwarded content within a thread, those messages may be read as context when an account holder or opted-in participant sends the triggering message. See our Privacy Policy for full details and opt-out options for non-subscribers. Any email recipient may opt out of future Dudley replies at thread scope or globally at any time using the signed links in Dudley's signature block, or through account settings.
We process opt-out requests promptly; requests are applied to future communications. Email Services are available to eligible Routabout subscribers. See routabout.ai/pricing for current plan details and applicable rate limits. Termination You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone.
Before deletion completes, we will display your remaining paid credit balance and give you the opportunity to cancel the deletion. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining paid wallet credit. Trial credit is non-refundable in all cases. Where applicable law requires a refund of unexpired paid credit, contact billing@routabout.ai.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms. In that case, remaining wallet credit is also forfeited. Disclaimer Routabout is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated outputs are not legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice.
We are not liable for AI-generated content, model errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or decisions made on the basis of model output. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before acting on it. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app banner.
